For reviewing an academic text

What Scribmetric looks at, and where each part stands today. We don't present unfinished features as finished.

AI pattern analysis

We split the text into 60–160 word passages and score each one separately, so in a text that is half human and half AI you can see which part looks suspicious. The result is a probability, not proof of who wrote it.

  • Three outcomes: human-written, AI-edited or mixed, fully AI-written
  • Separate thresholds for Turkish and English
  • Reference lists are left out of the analysis

This study surveyed the academic reading habits of 412 undergraduate students at two public universities. Data were collected during the spring 2023 term.

The growing availability of digital sources is reshaping how undergraduates engage with academic texts. This study investigates students' reading frequency, source preferences and self-regulation skills, and evaluates the relationships among these variables within a unified analytical framework.

The results show that most students read fewer than five hours of academic material per week and mostly leave their reading until exam periods.

Academic language and clarity

Right now we show formulaic phrases such as “furthermore”, “it is important to note” or “bunun yanı sıra”, and how uniform the sentence lengths are. Spelling, punctuation and grammar checks are in progress.

  • Formulaic phrases are marked in the text
  • Sentence length variation is measured
  • Spelling and grammar checks in progress

In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, digital literacy plays a crucial role in students' academic success. Furthermore, it is important to note that reading habits must be examined in a comprehensive and multifaceted manner.
